This is a 7-day teaching and practice course for Forms, Application, Push Hands and Qigong exercises suitable for all levels of Students. This course will combine an intensive training course with the opportunity of meeting instructors from the Wushu Association China. It will be attended by students and instructors from other European countries. There will be a 15 hours of training on Tai Chi in depth and detailed as part of the course.
Places on this course are strictly limited so it is advised student book as far in advance as possible to avoid disappointment. Everybody will receive a grading certificate issued by Wushu Association China and a group photograph will be available to download from our web site.
Total cost: £495.00 per person at half board, twin or double luxury room in a 3 star standard hotel for two people sharing basis; Single stay can be arranged upon request at extra £180.00 supplement per person);
Date and Duration:
One week - 7 days from Monday on 17th November 2008 to Monday on 24th November 2008;
Weekend - short stay option is available upon request for those people who are short of time and just want to take part in the Wushu grading assessment. Which is Friday, 21st to Monday 24th departure from Birmingham airport.
Instructors: Master Liming Yue (English speaking), Dr. Jiang Niujun (Franch speaking) and guest Masters from China Wushu Association.
Training: 15 hours training with Master Liming Yue over 6 days is covered by the price; Training covers Silk Reeling energy, Qigong exercises, 11 short form, 18 Form, Laojia first routine, 83 Form, Push Hands Weapons for the grading and application. People on the course will be separated into groups to suit their individual levels.

Additional Training: According to the request from the people who had signed up for the course, there will be an additional Spiritual Qigong training opportunity with Master Liming Yue during the week and details are listed below in the itenerary.
Venues of training: Early morning training will be located in the park. All seminars during the week and Wushu grading will be held in the hotel dance gym.
Flights, baggages and transportation: flight tickets with Ryanair from Liverpool, London Stansted, Bristol & Birmingham (Friday), Dublin, Frankfurt, Madrid, Barcelona (Girona), Milan, Paris and any other available airports in European are included subject to the availability. Airport pick up and drop off service can be arranged in advance and we will receive you at the airport. It takes about 30 minutes to get to the hotel by taxi or metrolink; Only one baggage for check in and one cabin baggage to take on borad are allowed. The weight allowance for check in baggage is 15kg and for cabin baggage is 10kg;
Hotel and breakfast: Based at shared double room or twin room includes breakfast in a 3 star hotel ( Tuela Oporto - Rua Arq. Marques Da Silva, Porto, 200 - 4150-483 Porto, Portugal); TV, airconditioning, en-suit, Telephone are served in the room; Internet facilities are also available with separate charges.
Location of hotels: the hotel is siting in the middle of Boavista city centre in Porto and next to the Boavista Shopping Centre. the Douro river and nice parks are just on the corner with walking distance. Bars, restaurants and suppermarket are everywhere around the hotel and it opens until 12:00 at middle night if you are interested in your own drink and meals.
Meals: 6 main meals, buffer and traditional local style food includes two drinks and deserts provided by the shop, will be served in the restaurant and covered by the price. We will go out to eat on Sunday evening and bills will be shared on the table. idea cost for the meal will be around £20.00 per person.
Sightseeing: The Douro river boat journey and many nearby historic sightseeing places are very attractive to visit.

Wine: Porto Wine is well-known and we will visit the manufactory to see the wine production line and warehouse. It is also a great opportunity to buy some excellent Porto wine back to home at manufactory supplied price.
Travel insurance cover is at your own cost and responsibility, please send a photocopy of your insurance to the Centre one week prior to your traveling.
NHS European Health Insurance Card is free service from NHS and you can get it from local post offices. Please get this very useful medical care card and you can use it in all hospitals for future European travel as well.
Weekend event: The weekend Wushu Grading Assessment and Seminar will be mixed with a group of local students and many martial arts people who turn up for the Wushu grading assessement. Local TV station, newspaper and magazines will also interview, report and broadcast the events as well.

Once we receive your payment we will send you all the booking details with flight details as confirmation of your booking.
Total price of £495.00 consist of: A non-refundable deposit and administration charge of £160 (required upon reservation) and a final balance of £335 (should be paid in full by the end of October 2008). Bookings made after 31st October 2008 requires full payment at the time of booking, plus a £50 surcharge.
Total Payment for the trip includes: Tuition fees for the training with Master Liming Yue, Wushu grading fees ( registration, training fee and assessment of £105.00), air-tickets, airport tax, breakfast, 6 main meals, accommodation, training insurance (subject to individual's health condition and ages) and transportation by metrolink between Oporto airport to the hotel (excluding taxis). Everybody who wishes to take part in the trip must provide their own valid travel insurance to cover the trip.
The price for the trip is £495 (half board basis). A £160 non-refundable deposit is required to secure a place and the final balance of £335 should be paid in full by the end of October 2008. Please note that we have to add an additional late booking charge for bookings made after the end of October (this is to cover the additional cost of making late flight and accommodation bookings). Clients who make cancellation on any confirmed bookings will be liable for the following cancellation charges based on the time when we receive the notice of cancellation in writing.
A. Once booked the trip and cancelled 61 days prior to the departure date, the deposit of £160 is non-refundable.
B. 31-60 days prior to departure date -50% of total cost.
C. 3-30 days prior to departure date -75% of total cost.
C. 3 days or less prior to departure date - 100% of total cost.
If, after acceptance of the booking, the customer alters the confirmed arrangements, an amendment fee of £100 per person plus any communication charges may be charged. If major alteration is required, the booking may be treated as a cancellation to which cancellation charges will apply.
We reserve the right to cancel or alter holiday arrangements at any time up to and including the departure date. Full refund of all monies will be made in the event of cancellation. Cancellations will be notified to clients without reasonable delay.
As part of the trip package the Chen Style Tai Chi Centre will complete all visa application procedures on behalf of the client at your own cost. However all clients are themselves responsible for ensuring that they are in possession of a valid passport and applicable visa at all times and places during the journey. Refunds or endorsement can not be claimed by clients who are rejected by local immigration for any reason.
As part of the Trip Package the Chen Style Tai Chi Centre will arrange standard training insurance for all clients to take part in the Tai Chi training course. However the Chen Style Tai Chi Centre acts only in the capacity of Agent for the clients in all arrangements. Expressly the Chen Style Tai Chi Centre shall not be liable for any injury, death, accident, loss, damage, or irregularity which may be occasioned by neglect or default of any other company, or additional expenses due to delays or changes in flights, trains, coaches or other services, or because of strike, war, sickness, weather, quarantine or other causes.
